LEBANON,
IN (January 13, 2010) -- Officials of the United States Speed Association are
pleased to announce that Hoosier Racing Tire,
Lakeville
,
IN
, will be Official Tire of USSA and the exclusive supplier of tires for their
inaugural season of competition. USSA
sanctions short track open wheel racing events for Midgets, Kenyon Midget Cars
and Thunder Roadsters. The 2010
USSA Racing Season consists of 15 points events to be held at Anderson
Speedway, Grundy County Speedway, Illiana Motor Speedway and Plymouth Speedway.
All three divisions will compete on Hoosier Racing Tires.
Hoosier
Racing Tire will also be the title sponsor of the Hoosier Racing Tire Triple
Header, presented by the
University
of
Northwestern Ohio
at Plymouth Speedway, Wednesday June 16th.
Don
Kenyon and DK Promotions will be the exclusive source for the Midget and Kenyon
Midget Tires while the Thunder Roadster Hoosier Tires will be available from
600 Racing. DK Promotions will
service each USSA event making tires available at the race track.
In addition to USSA Events, DK Promotions has contracted to supply the
Hoosier USSA Tire to the UMARA Midget Series based at Grundy County Speedway in
Morris
,
IL
.

The
2010 USSA Racing Season opens on Wednesday May 26 at Anderson (IN)
Speedway
with a 40 lap event for the Kenyon Midget Division.
The evenings racing will follow the opening day of practice for the 62nd
Pay Less Little 500 and will also feature the Must See Racing Winged Sprints
60. The first race for the USSA
Midget and Thunder Roadster divisions will be held June 5 at Grundy County
Speedway (
Morris
,
IL
) and co-sanctioned by UMARA.
