
HAMPTON,
VA (January 19, 2010) -- Langley Speedway and Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic have
announced their partnership for the upcoming racing season. Hoosier Racing
Tire will become the official tire of Langley Speedway when the season opens
in April.
"Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic has shown tremendous support towards our
racers, our fans, and the speedway and we are excited to partner with them
this year," said Langley Speedway owner Bill Mullis, regarding the new
agreement.
The speedway has a rich history in racing, including hosting the last Grand
National Event in 1970, before the series was renamed Winston Cup.
"We are very proud to be selected as the official tire of Langley
Speedway and excited that Hoosier Tires will be run exclusively in all
divisions. It's an honor to be working with Bill and his team," noted Bob
Wirts, General Manager of HTMA.
This year, Langley Speedway is celebrating its 60th season and will have 10
divisions and provide over 25 nights of racing entertainment for its fans.
Opening night activities begin April 10th with gates opening at 11:00 AM and
the pre-race show starting at 6:30 PM.
