Lakeville, IN (February 27, 2018)- Hoosier Racing Tire is pleased to announce that the new 26.5 and 27.5 RC4 for Grand Nationals are in stock and ready to ship today!
“We understand it has been a frustrating off-season for the Grand National teams waiting for their new tire. We just wanted to make sure the new product was going to live up to our specifications before we released anything.” stated Hoosier Product Manager Shanon Rush. “We took the extra time to run two additional tests so we all felt comfortable that we could hit the ground running with a successful tire in 2018.”
As of February 27th, both the 26.5/8.0-15 and 27.5/8.0-15 RC4 tires are in stock in the corporate warehouse and can be ordered by all Hoosier Racing Tire Distributors. These distributors will do their best to then quickly fill the pipeline of their local dealers and vendors.
The new RC4 will feature the same durable sidewall construction as the previous tire. However, an updated chain link pattern and a more repeatable, consistent compound will be utilized. The new compound should durometer 1-2 points harder than the old RC4 compound.
