Hoosier Releases New Spec Tire for SCCA Formula Continental Class

LAKEVILLE, IN – Hoosier is proud to release a new spec tire for the SCCA Formula Continental class beginning in 2021. The new R60A will use the same construction as the bias ply R35B, but will be fitted with a slightly harder tread compound that is known for its exceptional performance, durability, and unparalleled consistency on circuits across the U.S.

The FC rains will also use a bias ply construction and will be fitted with the innovative “W3” rain compound, which has been designed specifically for lightweight formula cars. This rubber’s “soft” durometer and substantial wet traction properties enable the driver to maneuver effortlessly in full wet conditions. Below are the specifications for the slick and wet.
